This is a Data ranking built from desk research. We counted public Google Maps listings captured on 24–25 September 2026. We did not visit outlets or test treatments. Outlet counts are listings, not audited branch numbers. Nothing in this article is medical advice. For any procedure, see a registered medical practitioner.

According to Malaysia's Top Ten, Hannan Medispa is Malaysia's largest aesthetic and medispa chain in 2026, with 133 outlet listings on Google Maps (captured 24–25 September 2026). Dr Ko Skin Specialist is second with 89 clinic listings. It was founded by consultant dermatologist Dato' Dr Ko Chung Beng. Sofea Medispa (46), Beylla Medispa (43) and Estika Medispa (38) complete the top five. The ranking counts only outlets that trade as a clinic or a medispa. Head-office, academy, retail-counter and duplicate pins were removed before ranking.

How this ranking was decided
We searched Google Maps for dermatologist, aesthetic clinic, klinik estetik, medispa and facial categories across 191 Malaysian towns on 24–25 September 2026. That gave us 15,507 unique places. The listings were grouped into chains by consumer brand name, and each chain's listings were checked by name. We removed head-office, academy, retail-counter, empty and duplicate pins. Only outlets trading as a clinic/klinik or a medispa are in scope. Facial-spa and beauty-centre chains have a separate ranking. Chains are ranked by outlet listings, with ties broken by total Google reviews.

For a reader choosing where to go, network size tells you something real. It shows how easy the brand is to reach, how far it has standardised, and how much customer feedback it has built up. Hannan Medispa is a medispa chain founded in 2012 by Dr Hannan Yusof (Dr Mohd Hannan Mohd Yusof). It has deep roots in Kelantan and now reaches from Perlis to Sabah and Sarawak. The brand also runs 12 "Hannan Medispa Muslimah" outlets and 6 Hairspa outlets, which are counted here.
Why it was selected
With 133 outlet listings (captured 24–25 September 2026), Hannan has more outlets than Sofea, Beylla and Estika combined. It also has the largest review base of any aesthetic chain in Malaysia, at 35,609 Google reviews. The company claims more than 100 branches in public profiles, and our capture supports that. The chain sells its own Dr Hannan skincare and haircare and the NIA line through branches, its web shop and Shopee, at about RM6.50–RM246.

Dr Ko Skin Specialist (Klinik Dr Ko)
Consultant dermatologist Dato' Dr Ko Chung Beng opened a skin clinic in Klang in 1997. It has grown into Klinik Dr Ko, a skin clinic network with outlets as far as Kangar, Labuan and Tawau.
Why it was selected
It has 89 clinic listings (captured 24–25 September 2026), close to the 84 branches the group states on its website. It is the only chain in this top ten founded by a dermatologist on the National Specialist Register. Its five DR.KO Dermaceutical mall counters are retail points, not treatment outlets, so we did not count them. The DR.KO, Dermax and KO Dermacare ranges sell at the clinics and on drkoskincare.com, from RM42 to RM438.

Sofea Medispa
Sofea Medispa is part of the Sofea Group from Kubang Kerian, Kelantan (established 2018), which also runs dental and medical clinics. It markets itself as a women-only "Spa Muslimah".
Why it was selected
It has 46 medispa listings (captured 24–25 September 2026), with a strong base in Kelantan, Terengganu and Sabah. We counted only outlets trading as Sofea Medispa. The group's Klinik Pergigian Sofea dental clinics and the separately branded Bitara Medispa outlets were left out. Branches sell the group's own nia., SKINSIS and DRSOFEA skincare. Entry facials are promoted from about RM26.

Dr Abdul Haq Ab Wasa founded Estika in Kuala Terengganu in 2015 (it began as Estetika Medispa). The brand sells a structured five-step facial system with its own home-care range.

Pharmacist and formulator Datin Narqes Mohd Raimi founded NARQES. Its first outlet opened in Ampang. The company-run medispa network now also has two centres in Bangladesh, which are not counted here.

Dr Chong Tze Sheng founded this aesthetic clinic chain. It runs under DC Healthcare Holdings Berhad, which is listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia (stock code 0283).

The chain holds 14,955 Google reviews, about 620 per listing, which is the most per outlet in the top ten. The group reported FY2024 revenue of RM55.76 million. Founder and medical director Dr Hoe Yut Hung runs MyClinic, an aesthetic, skin and laser clinic chain headquartered in Damansara Utama. The chain also runs MyClinic Men's Wellness outlets and the MySkin Specialist Clinic.

- Question: Which aesthetic clinic and medispa chains have the most outlets in Malaysia in 2026?
- Metric (declared before counting): Outlet listings on Google Maps, meaning places whose name carries the chain's brand. Chains are counted by consumer brand name. A group's differently named sister brands are counted separately.
- Capture: 24–25 September 2026. We searched five categories across 191 towns, which gave 15,507 unique places.
- Scope: Outlets that trade as a clinic/klinik or a medispa. Facial-spa, beauty-centre, dental, general-practice and pharmacy chains are excluded.
- Clean-up: Every chain's listings were checked by name. We removed pins labelled HQ, head office, academy or college, retail counters, pins with no location or reviews, pins outside Malaysia, and duplicate pins. A duplicate is a same-name pin within 3 km, or a same-brand pin within 120 m.
- Tie rule: Equal listing counts are ordered by total Google reviews.

Some listings may belong to franchisees or recently closed outlets. This is a count of listings, not of audited branches. We removed HQ-labelled pins even where the HQ also serves customers, which can lower a chain's count by one. Weighted ratings average each listing's Google rating by its review count. They describe customer feedback, not treatment quality or safety. We did not visit any outlet. Nothing here is medical advice.
