This is a Data ranking built from desk research. It counts public Google Maps listings captured on 24–25 September 2026. We did not visit outlets or test treatments. Facial spas are beauty businesses, not medical clinics. For any medical skin concern, see a registered doctor.

Quick answer

According to Malaysia's Top Ten, HerbaLine is Malaysia's largest facial spa chain in 2026, with 40 outlet listings on Google Maps (captured 24–25 September 2026). That is twice as many as the next chain, Celmonze (20). One Doc x Hair Doc (19) is third and has by far the most customer reviews, 33,640. Naarabelle Facespa (19), Dyraa Facespa (17) and Michelle Lazar (17) follow. Outlets that trade as clinics or medispas are ranked separately.

  • HerbaLine is the only facial-spa brand with more than 20 outlets, helped by a dealer network that trades under its name.
  • The biggest review bases belong to mall-based chains: One Doc x Hair Doc (33,640 reviews from 19 listings) and New York Skin Solutions (23,868 from 14). Each averages more than 1,600 reviews per outlet.
  • Three of the ten, Naarabelle, Dyraa and Seri Wajah, are Muslimah facespas. They also appear in our Muslimah and Muslim-friendly chains ranking.
  • Two are foreign-born formats: Kskin (a Singapore Korean-express-facial franchise that entered Malaysia in 2023) and New York Skin Solutions (part of a Singapore-based beauty group). Kskin already has 15 Malaysian listings.
  • The top ten hold 187 outlet listings. Michelle Lazar has the highest weighted rating (4.94★).

How this ranking was decided

We searched Google Maps for facial, medispa and aesthetic categories across 191 Malaysian towns on 24–25 September 2026, finding 15,507 unique places. Listings were grouped by consumer brand name and checked by name. We removed HQ, academy, retail-counter, empty and duplicate pins, and listings that describe themselves as a brand's "authorised dealer" or "powered by" it. Only chains trading as a facial spa, facespa, skin-care or beauty centre are in scope. Clinics and medispas are ranked separately. Chains are ranked by outlet listings, with ties broken by total Google reviews.

The facial-spa economy

Facial spas are the everyday end of Malaysia's skin business. They sell cleansing, extraction, hydration and mask treatments by beauticians, often in 45 to 90 minutes and often as a membership package. Most of the chains here also sell their own home-care range across the counter. That is why brand names such as HerbaLine, Celmonze and New York Skin Solutions double as skincare labels.

The ranking shows three business models side by side. There are neighbourhood networks built partly on dealers or franchisees (HerbaLine, Celmonze, Michelle Lazar). There are mall-based treatment brands (One Doc x Hair Doc, New York Skin Solutions, Kskin, Beaumedic). And there are Muslimah facespas (Naarabelle, Dyraa, Seri Wajah). For chains that trade as clinics or medispas, see Malaysia's largest aesthetic clinic and medispa chains. For a massage-led day out, see the highest-rated spas in Kuala Lumpur.

Frequently asked questions

What is the largest facial spa chain in Malaysia in 2026?

HerbaLine is the largest, according to Malaysia's Top Ten, with 40 outlet listings on Google Maps captured on 24–25 September 2026. That includes dealer outlets trading under the HerbaLine name. Celmonze is second with 20 listings. One Doc x Hair Doc and Naarabelle Facespa tie on 19, with One Doc x Hair Doc placed third on the review-count tie-break.

Which facial spa chain in Malaysia has the most Google reviews?

One Doc x Hair Doc has the most, with 33,640 Google reviews across 19 listings (captured 24–25 September 2026). That is about 1,770 per outlet. HerbaLine (26,554) and New York Skin Solutions (23,868) follow, according to Malaysia's Top Ten.

Is One Doc x Hair Doc a clinic?

No. According to 1 Doc International Berhad's draft prospectus lodged with the Securities Commission in May 2026, its services are non-medical beauty services performed by beauticians. That is why it appears in Malaysia's Top Ten's facial-spa ranking, not the clinic ranking. The draft prospectus reports FY2024 group revenue of RM347.0 million.

Where can I get a Korean facial in Malaysia?

Kskin Korean Express Facial, a Singapore-born franchise that entered Malaysia in 2023, had 15 Malaysian outlet listings on Google Maps in September 2026. Most are in malls such as One Utama, Paradigm Mall and Sunway Carnival. It ranks seventh among Malaysia's largest facial spa chains in Malaysia's Top Ten's 2026 ranking.

What is the difference between a facial spa, a medispa and an aesthetic clinic?

A facial spa offers beautician-led, non-medical treatments such as cleansing, extraction and masks. A medispa usually adds machine-based treatments and sometimes works with doctors. An aesthetic clinic is a registered medical clinic where doctors approved for aesthetic practice perform procedures such as injectables and medical lasers. Check the Ministry of Health's LCP registry for any doctor who treats you.

How this ranking was produced

  • Question: Which facial spa chains have the most outlets in Malaysia in 2026?
  • Metric (declared before counting): Outlet listings on Google Maps whose name carries the chain's brand, captured 24–25 September 2026 across 191 towns. Chains are counted by consumer brand name, and sister brands are counted separately.
  • Scope: Chains trading as a facial spa, facespa, skin-care or beauty centre. Chains trading as a clinic/klinik or medispa, and massage-led spas, are excluded.
  • Clean-up: We removed pins labelled HQ, head office or academy, retail counters, empty pins, pins outside Malaysia and duplicate pins, and listings describing themselves as a brand's authorised dealer or "powered by" it.
  • Tie rule: Equal listing counts are ordered by total Google reviews.
  • Full house rules: our rankings methodology.

Notable exclusions

Candidates considered but not ranked, and why:

  • Skin Renew (11 listings) — #11. Two listings that describe themselves as a Skin Renew "authorised dealer" or "powered by Skin Renew" were not counted.
  • idos Cosmeceutical (11), UNICO (10), Mayfair Wellness (10) and MedicDeno (9) — Below the top-ten cut-off of 12 listings.
  • Dermique — Its 13 listings are partner salons trading under their own names, so it is not counted as a chain.
  • Perfect Doc (5), Slim Doc (1) and Victoria Facelift (5) — Sister brands of ranked chains, counted separately under the brand-name rule.
  • Clinic and medispa chains — Hannan, Sofea, Beylla, Estika and others trade as medispas or clinics. They are ranked in our aesthetic clinic and medispa chains ranking.
  • Massage and day-spa chains — Out of scope. See our highest-rated spas in Kuala Lumpur.

Limitations

Outlet counts are Google Maps listings, not audited branch numbers. Google returns around 120 results per search, so large chains in dense cities may be undercounted, and some brands (Celmonze, HerbaLine) state higher totals than we captured. Franchise and dealer outlets are counted when they trade under the brand name. Their service standards may differ from company-run outlets. Weighted ratings reflect customer feedback, not treatment quality. One Doc x Hair Doc's 19 listings come from our facial and aesthetic capture. A separate hair and scalp capture (25–26 September 2026), used in our hair-loss and scalp-care chains ranking, found more of its outlets. We did not visit any outlet. Nothing here is medical advice.
